When we experience trauma, struggles or life transitions it can leave us feeling stuck, depressed, anxious or not knowing what to do. Sometimes, we need extra support. In order to begin healing, we all need safety and someone who holds space for us to process these hard emotions. It is my goal to create an environment of trust and safety where clients feel any and all emotions are welcomed in session. When you step into my office you’ll find I bring a calm, empathetic, and compassionate approach to the therapeutic relationship.
Because we all face very unique challenges, I take a person-centered approach to therapy to make sure that coping skills are tailored to your needs. I use a strength-based approach as I want my clients to feel empowered through our work. I see therapy as collaborative process because we are all experts in our own experiences.
I work with adults of all ages and especially enjoy the young adult population. I specialize in trauma. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship struggles. Modalities I incorporate in my practice are CBT, Mindfulness, solution-focused and Motivational interviewing. I provide clients with coping skills.
